Join Izabela Murtagh, Scotland's most enthusiastic commuter, for November's talk at the Towpath Café at Biketrax.

In the eighth talk of the series we bring you two amazing guests: Cat Magill and Chris Greenan.

Cat Magill loves riding her bike and using it as a means for travel and adventure. She has toured in West Africa, Japan, South America and India and more recently participated in ultra races including Highland Trail and Silk Road Mountain Race. Locally she helps to coordinate rides with Edinburgh Gravel Cycling Club and helps out at Edinburgh Tool Library’s Cycle Kitchen

Born in Edinburgh and raised in Muscat, Oman, Chris Greenan is a passionate road cyclist, ultra-endurance rider, and bike-packing enthusiast. After completing the Trans America Bike Race in 2018, he co-founded the Trans Alba Race in Scotland with Jack Driver, aiming to create an inclusive event that showcases Scotland's stunning landscapes. Though his rides have shortened since becoming a parent, Chris still enjoys flash packing weekends and maintains a love for ultra-cycling. With a background in hospitality, his time is tight, but cycling remains a core part of his life, riding a collection of Curve bikes, including his beloved Sparkle Horse❤️
