Join Izabela Murtagh, Scotland's most enthusiastic commuter, for May’s talk at the Towpath Café at Biketrax.

In the ninth talk of the series we bring you three amazing guests: Mike Elm and Kevin woods.

Mike Elm's Rolling with the Punctures was both a state of mind and an 8,000km bike journey from England to Greece in 2023. Along the way, he faced the mountains of Bosnian and Albania and Tunisian sandstorms, as well as other unexpected encounters with scorpions, boars, and unfriendly climates. Mike shares stories and photos from his seven-month journey, recounting his adventure.

Based in Glasgow, Kevin Woods Spends as much time as possible in the hills, though work often takes over!. In December 2020 Kevin started his Winter round of the Munros. He’s passionate about mountaineering, climbing, and walking, expressing this through film, writing, music, and graphics. While he enjoys road biking, he admits his bike desperately needs a service!
