Martin's Mega Yeti SB140

Riding to the Roof of the World

We've done plenty of Yeti builds in the past, all with little touches here and there to make them unique to the rider, but this one is something to make note of. Martin got in contact after planning a trip to Nepal with H&I Adventures to build a bike to take him on a once in a lifetime trip through the Himalayas. He'll be exploring forests, arid landscapes and busy villages in an adventure fuelled 12 days, taking in all the local culture.

Anyway, onto the build! Here's the run down:

- Yeti SB140 Frame
- Fox Factory 36 forks
Fox Transfer Neo
- Fox DHX Live Valve Neo Shock
- SRAM XO Transmission
- SRAM Maven Brakes
- Enve M6 Wheelset on Maxxis DHR and Dissector Tyres

Martin knew what he wanted from this bike and spared no expenses creating his dream machine. The Live Valve shock was a great addition to the bike, especially when facing the extremely variable terrain in Nepal. Utilising two sensors on the front and rear brake mounts, the shock adjusts within a millisecond, giving you support when firm and plushness when open without any need to think about it!

SRAM's Maven brakes allow for heavy duty braking power, Enve M6 wheels give a efficient yet comfortable ride and SRAM's XO transmission offers robust and high performance shifting. All these factors combined create the ultimate trail and adventure rig that can take on anything in it's path!

Get in contact for your dream bike whether big or small!
